Cooperation with the international research area
Thanks to its infrastructure Research Centre Rez is member of international consorcia involved in reactor technologies of II., III. and IV. generation, and also in fusion, nuclear safety and knowledge transfer:
- SNE-TP (Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform)
- IGD-TP (Implementing Geological Disposal of Radioactive Waste Technology Platform)
- ETSON (European Technical Safety Organisations Network)
- NUGENIA (Nuclear Generation II & III Association
- ENEN (European Nuclear Education Network)
- FUSENET (European Fusion Education Network)
Reactors LVR-15 and LR-0 are members of regional networks and global associations of operators of research reactors, which address both the operation and safety of reactors and their use:
- EERRI (Eastern European Research Reactors Initiative)
- TWGRR (Technical Working Group on Research Reactors)
- RROG (Research Reactors Operators Group)
- AIPES (Association of Imaging Producers & Equipment Suppliers)
Within those networks, research infrastructure cooperates with research reactors and institutions worldwide, such as reactor BR2 operated by SCK-CEN, reactor HBWR operated by Norwegian IFE, HFR reactor operated by NRG, MARIA reactor operated by the Polish NCBJ, the Canadian NRU reactor, the Australian reactor OPAL , OSIRIS reactor operated by CEA French, South African SAFARI reactor, or TRIGA reactor operated Atominstitut TU Wien in Vienna.
